Sport is hugely beneficial for children. By playing sports children develop physical skills, exercise, make new friends, have fun, learn to be a team member, learn about play fair, & improve self-esteem. In Carlanstown NS we promote individual and team games in competitive and non-competitive structures. The focus is on participation and enjoyment . We have strong links with our local sports clubs & coaches to promote the importance of physical activity for all our pupils.
