The boys and girls in 6th class celebrated European Day of Languages. We spoke about the many benefits of language learning, learned lots of interesting facts about European languages, and practised saying hello in some of them. The children had the opportunity to taste some European food, and we attempted to name all the flags of the European Union. Oliwia and Helena were kind enough to introduce us to the Polish alphabet, and translated some phrases into Polish for us! The children have also started learning Spanish over the last couple of weeks, and are very eager to expand their language skills!
