There was lots of thematic teaching this week as we celebrated Halloween, from pumpkin carving, halloween receipes & spooky art creations but the highlight of the week was our Fancy Dress Day.
Traditionally we always ran our
admission/enrolment processes in the
Springtime however in line with the law
governing admissions to school, we must
now run our enrolment in the Autumn of
the year preceding enrolment.
Congratulations to Zara 6th class and Rosita 1st class who very proudly represented the school at an Interschools Showjumping Competition in Mullingar on Sunday.
On Saturday 2nd October Communion Class 2021 received their First Holy Communion in Kilbeg Church surrounded by their families. It was a very special morning and we were very proud of them.
On Thursday, we welcomed members of the Meath Minor All Ireland winning team and their management to our school and the excitement levels reached an all time high. The school was festooned in Green & Gold for our champions!
Best of luck to Aine Sheridan and the Meath Ladies in the All Ireland Final against Dublin this Sunday from all the pupils and staff in Carlanstown NS.
We were delighted to be able to facilitate a Sports Days for the boys and girls this year. In fact this year it was a two day event and we were very lucky that the sun shone on both days!

Congratulations to all the boys and girls who received their 100% Attendance Awards on the final day of the school year. They did not miss a day from Sept 2020 - June 2021.
We are very lucky to have Deerpark on our doorstep and during June all of our classes enjoyed picnics and activities in the park!
