Five A Day – Keep Boredom at Bay! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to give parents a few ideas of things you can do to promote learning at home. You may have your own ideas which are working better than anything we could suggest.

Fifth & Sixth class are at the halfway point in their Cycle Safety Training Course with Cycle Right Training. Unfortunately week 5 of the course was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. 🌧🌫🌨
The children from 2nd to 6th Class are participating in a 6 week coding programme known as Scratch with Ready Steady Code. The workshops have been facilitated by author of the programme & retired teacher Seamus O'Neill.
We hope that all the parents & families who attended the Peace Proms Concert last Sunday in the RDS enjoyed the concert just as much as we did! We were very lucky to be seated right behind the orchestra!
Congratulations to CJ Lynch 5th Class who won the 100 Touch Challenge last Wednesday here in CNS!
Congratulations to Hannah & Ella Cassidy who won the Top Prize in our Christmas Raffle. Thank you to everyone who supported the raffle so generously, especially our sponsors.
Congratulations to the 48 pupils across all classes who received their awards at our Final Christmas Assembly for full attendance in Term 1.
On the 16th December, 5th and 6th Class pupils went to the Kells People Resource Centre to wrap presents for people who would be alone this Christmas.
