On a sunny morning with our Teddy Bears tucked under our arms we headed off to Deerpark for our Teddy Bears Picnic
Our Gardening Club have continued to develop the garden all year and we have applied for a Meath County Council Pride of Place Award again this year.
The children in Second Class celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time in school on Thursday 6th May 2021. Ms Donohoe, Ms Curran and all the staff in Scoil Mhuire would like to express their congratulations to the boys and girls.
We had over 100 egg-cellent entries in our competition. It was very difficult to choose our winners.
To celebrate the end of Term 2 and to thank all the children for their hard work during Distance Learning, all the children made their own Easter treats to take home!
Lá Glas brought lots of colour and excitement to the school on Tuesday as we celebrated St. Patrick's Day in all the classrooms.
I understand the safe reopening of our school and the full return of allour classes is the most important thing for all families at this time. However, we must continue with the business of reviewing our existing policies and procedures.
It was wonderful to welcome back our Junior Infants to Third Class. There was such an air of excitement as the children chatted to their friends.
We are really looking forward to welcoming Junior Infants - Third Class back to school on Monday 1st March.
All the staff worked really hard to make the run up to Christmas even more special this year. The creativity and colour across all the classrooms was infectious and Christmas Jumper Day was a riot of colour too!
