As part of Autism Awareness Week, all of our mainstream classes had the wonderful opportunity to visit our Early Intervention classes. The children explored some of the different activities that take place each day and learned about the communication tools used by the pupils.
Each child also painted a rock to represent their own individuality. These colourful and unique rocks are now proudly displayed in our school garden, celebrating how special and different we all are.
To finish off a lovely week, we held our Rainbow Day, where children were invited to wear colourful clothes to school. It was a bright and cheerful way to celebrate inclusion, individuality and friendship throughout our school community.
