One of the activities this week was class visits to our Early Intervention Little Stars Class. The children chatted with the teachers & SNAs about the children’s communication devices & visual timetables, they explored the sensory toys and relaxation & regulation areas. They had really interesting questions and enjoyed tryjng out the different learning activities/zones.
As part of Autism Awareness Week, 2nd and 3rd class spent some time exploring their senses in our sensory garden. Following this they painted very creative and colourful art pieces inspired by what they saw, heard and smelled while spending time in the garden
