To celebrate World Book Day, we had a busy week filled with different activities over in Ms Owens’ room. We had a shared reading buddy system with Ms Allen’s 5th class. Each day, 5th class students read a story book to a senior infant or first class student. 📖 We also took part in a guess the cover game. Students had to listen to the story read by Ms Owens in circle time and design what they think the cover could look like. 🎨🖌️ Each day senior infants and first class were invited to take in their favourite book from home and Ms Owens or themselves would read a page to the class. 📚 We also dressed up as our favourite book character on World Book Day!! We then finished off our busy week with some reading huts in our classroom, where students had the chance to read their favourite book with their friends. 📚📖🤓😁
