On Friday we had a very special final Assembly for this term. In a surprise presentation, Noah Foster 4th Class, was awarded the Overall Spirit of the Final Award from the Cumann na mBunscol 2024 Competitions.
We welcomed Fergal Lynch from the Meath Chronicle, Tony Kearney on behalf of Cumann na mBunscol and Aisling Leddy.
Fergal told the children that Noah was selected out of all the players across the fifteen finals which were held in November, not only for his outstanding skills as a goalkeeper but for his sportsmanship and empathy towards his opponents when the final whistle blew!
In the presence of Noah’s family and all of his friends he proudly accepted his award.
