6th class were scientists for the week; constructing and test flying rockets, observing cheek cells under the microscope, and reading a scientific journal about bird flu! We had a very special treat to interview a real scientist who works in the laboratory in Tara mines! Each of the children came up with questions for the scientist, and we were very interested to learn from him about his work in the lab. He even sent us photos to help us visualise what a real laboratory is like!
